Who can access the Business Dashboard?

Only:

  • Logged-in users

  • Verified shop owners

  • Businesses with an active subscription

If a subscription expires, analytics and premium dashboard features are temporarily locked until renewal.

ShopSearching tracks real, business-relevant metrics, including:

Are QR scan analytics tracked in real time?

Yes.

Each time a customer scans:

  • The scan count is incremented instantly

  • The last scan timestamp is updated

  • The scan type (Google or ShopSearching) is recorded

What are daily scan snapshots?

Every day, ShopSearching:

  • Stores total Google QR scans

  • Stores total ShopSearching QR scans

  • Saves them as daily snapshots

How does period comparison work in analytics?

ShopSearching compares:

  • Current period scans (example: last 7 days)

  • Previous period scans (the 7 days before that)

This shows:

These comparisons are included in dashboard views and email reports.


What is included in automated analytics email reports?

Analytics emails include:

  • Total QR scans (Google & ShopSearching)

  • Scan growth comparison (current vs previous period)

  • Competitor insights (if available)

Reports are sent automatically for active subscriptions.


How often are analytics reports sent?

Reports are:

  • Sent once every 3 days per shop

  • Limited to avoid spam

  • Logged to ensure cooldown between emails

If a report was sent recently, the system waits before sending again.


How many shops receive reports at a time?

To ensure performance and reliability:

  • Reports are sent in small batches

  • A maximum of 3 shops per run

  • Each shop follows a 3-day cooldown

This ensures fair and stable delivery.


What are keyword rankings and how are they tracked?

Keyword rankings show:

  • Which search terms your shop appears for

  • Your ranking position for each keyword

  • Changes in ranking over time

Only ranked keywords are included, and top keywords are highlighted in reports.


How does competitor analytics work?

Competitor analytics compares:

Yes.

Analytics:

  • Update automatically in the background

  • Are processed by scheduled jobs (cron)

  • Continue tracking as long as the subscription is active

You don’t need to manually refresh or enable tracking.


What happens if my subscription expires?

If a subscription expires:

  • Analytics tracking pauses

  • QR scans stop recording

  • Dashboard analytics access is restricted

  • Existing data is preserved

Once renewed, tracking resumes automatically.


Can I download analytics reports?
